12-04-2006Driving around yesterday, I realize that I hate this time of year so damned much. The days are short as hell, by the time 5:00 rolls around, it's almost dark, and in general is just depressing as hell. Moving closer to X-mas, (if you watched Futurama, you'd get the reference) when more people have decorated and everything looks brighter, it doesn't seem so bad. But when it's grey, cloudy, cold, and dark all before 5:30... well, how can you not feel a little bleak? Due to some cosmic misalignment, apparently there are no new releases for the 360 until the new year - thus seriously crimping my geekdom. -Though the good news is Clerks II hit the streets last Tuesday and features a trailer for an upcoming film called 'Fanboys'. How great a concept is this: 1998, a group of friends set out for Skywalker Ranch to steal a copy of Episode I so they can see it early. Hijinks ensue. Peace, I'm out. -GL 12-05-2006-GL
